These zonal offices are further divided into regional offices and regional offices into sub-regional offices and district offices.

The Chief Officer of the Regional Office is the Regional Provident Fund Commissioner and the Chief Officer of the Sub-Regional Office is the Junior Grade Regional Provident Fund Commissioner. Smaller districts or regions of the country have district offices where enforcement officers are posted to inspect local establishments and handle member/employer complaints.
