We store any information on the ROM permanently, and when we have to do some work, we transfer that information to the RAM, and RAM transfers it to the CPU. That is why it is often said that the more RAM in your mobile or computer, the faster your device will be able to work.
Today many mobile companies are providing up to 12 GB of RAM in their mobiles, the same computer companies are providing up to 32 GB of RAM to the people.

The first workable RAM was the Williams tube, built-in 1947, which was the first random access memory to store data on the face of a cathode ray tube as electrically charged sports.
But Robert Daynard is said to be the inventor of random access memory, which patented this important component in 1968.
