What is Association of California Symphony Orchestras mean?

The Association of California Symphony Orchestras (ACSO) is a trade association founded in 1969 by a small group of orchestra managers. The members of its board of directors are affiliated with arts organizations in California. ACSO's headquarters are in Los Angeles with additional staff in Sacramento. ACSO's first executive director was Kris Sinclair, who retired after 31 years. Mitch Menchaca succeeded Sinclair in 2016, and Sarah Weber is the current executive director.
