Beaver Area School District is a suburban, public school district in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. The district encompasses approximately 21 square miles (54 km2) serving the Boroughs of Beaver and Bridgewater and Brighton Township and Vanport Township in Beaver County, Pennsylvania and Monaca, Pennsylvania. According to 2000 federal census data, it serves a resident population of 14,989 people. According to District officials, in school year 2009-10 the Beaver Area School District provided basic educational services to 2,087 pupils through the employment of 135 teachers, 80 full-time and part-time support personnel, and 18 administrators. Beaver Area School District received more than $8.5 million in state funding in school year 2009-10.
The district operates one High School, one Middle School and two Elementary Schools.
