Answer:

1) WBC: White Blood Cell

The full form of WBC is “White Blood Cell”. White blood cells (WBC) are cells of the immune system involved in defending the body against infectious diseases and foreign materials. It is also called a leukocyte or white blood corpuscle. Leukocytes are found throughout the body, including the blood and the lymphatic system. It is a cellular component of blood. White blood cells continually look for signs of disease. When a germ appears, WBCs have several ways to attack. Some will produce protective antibodies that will overpower the germ. Others will surround and devour bacteria. All white blood cells are produced and derived from multipotent cells in the bone marrow known as hematopoietic stem cells. All WBCs have nuclei, which differentiate them from other blood cells, nucleated red blood cells (RBCs), and platelets. The leukogram does not have hemoglobin like red blood cells. Its main function is to protect the body from infections and diseases, for example. produces antibodies to destroy infectious agents like bacteria, viruses, germs, etc.
