The album features guest appearances from Labrinth, Ed Sheeran and Lana Del Rey, with production by the Weeknd himself, Kanye West, Stephan Moccio, DaHeala, Illangelo, Ben Billions, DannyBoyStyles, Max Martin, and Ali Payami, among others.

Beauty Behind the Madness was supported by five singles: "Often", "The Hills", "Can't Feel My Face", "In the Night", and "Acquainted".
