In February 2017 Johnson became the world number 1-ranked golfer and remained there for 64 consecutive weeks, the 5th longest run as number 1. He returned to the number 1 position in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 and has been at number 1 for a total of over 130 weeks.
