The International Society for Philosophical Enquiry (ISPE), a.k.a. The Thousand, is a global scientific and philosophical high-IQ society founded in 1974 by Christopher Phillip Harding for individuals 18 years of age or older who have performed at or above the 99.9th percentile on any well-recognized and accepted test of cognitive ability. ISPE's members are referred to as "Thousanders" because only 1 out of every 1,000 people in the general population will qualify for membership. The current president is Roger Brown, of the United States of America.
