Titagarh Wagons is a railway wagon manufacturer based out of Titagarh, West Bengal, India. The company manufactures coaches for the Indian Railways, bailey bridges, and mining equipment. A subsidiary, Titagarh Marines, operates in the shipbuilding industry.
In 2015, Titagarh acquired a 90% stake in Italian rail equipment firm Firema Trasporti, renaming the firm to Titagarh Firema SPA. By 2018, Titagarh held 100% stake of Firema Trasporti. Titagarh Firema will design metro rail coaches and manufacture them at its factories at Caserta, Spello and Tito. The company acquired Kolkata-based Corporated Shipyard in 2012, merging it with its subsidiary Titagarh Marines to manufacture ships for the Indian Navy, and won its first defence contract in 2017.
In 2019, Titagarh Firema was awarded the contract to supply 102 aluminium bodied metro rail coaches for the Pune Metro by Mahametro. While 25 per cent of them would be manufactured at the Firema plant in Italy, the remaining would be manufactured at Mahametro's facility in Nagpur. In March 2020, it was reported that Titagarh had suspended plan operations in Italy due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
