Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College (UIC; simplified Chinese: 联合国际学院; traditional Chinese: 聯合國際學院), located in the Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, southern China, was co-founded by Beijing Normal University and Hong Kong Baptist University as the first full-scale cooperation in higher education between Chinese mainland and Hong Kong. Its charter has been approved by the Ministry of Education with full support from local authorities.
UIC has its stated mission of advancing the internationalization of Chinese higher education and taking the lead in implementing liberal arts education in China. With English as the medium of instruction, UIC's education is of international standards with high-calibre academic performance. The college has established the Divisions of Business and Management, Culture and Creativity, Humanities and Social Sciences, Science and Technology, in addition to the Graduate School. Altogether UIC offers 28 undergraduate programmes, and is approved to offer nine research and five taught postgraduate programmes for over 7,000 students. Undergraduates receive HKBU Bachelor's Degrees and UIC Graduation Certificates, and postgraduates earn HKBU degrees.
UIC established the Graduate School in 2017 and started to offer Postgraduate Programmes, including Taught Master Programmes in addition to Research Postgraduate Programmes that lead to MPhil or PhD degrees.
