Upsc Description:
UPSC full form or meaning is Union Public service commission.
UPSC i.e. Union Public Service Commission is the largest central authority in India, whose job is to conduct a centralized exam for selection in public service commission such as IAS, IPS, IRS etc.
It is one of the largest recruitment agency of the Government of India, which annually selects some of the most talented and sharp students from the crowd of millions of applications for different posts of the public service.
Apart from this, UPSC is also consulted on matters related to promotion and transfer of civil service personnel as well as any disciplinary matters involving civil servants in civil services in any civil subject.


UPSC was established on 1 October 1926 and since then it has been doing recruitment and other work for the Public Service Commission as an independent body.
UPSC is also considered to be the toughest competitive exam in India, in which if a student qualifies then he/she has to take more than 32 hours of the exam on a different stage.
UPSC recruits 24 different central public services every year, some of which are as follows-
Nationality-
If a student wants to write UPSC exam then he must be a citizen of India.
Age-
The age of the student should be at least 21 years and not more than 32 years However, according to the category, OBC and SC-ST category students also get the maximum age relaxation of 5 to 6 years.
Educational qualification-
Students must have graduated from any stream.
No. of attempts-
Any student can appear a maximum of 6 times in UPSC exams.

This competitive exam has the following 3 stages-
Preliminary-
The first exam of UPSC is Preliminary, which consists of 2 objective type papers of 200 marks each.
Paper 1-
Knowledge of current events of the candidates under Paper One as well as History of India, Indian National Movement, Geography of India and the World, Indian Political System, Indian Panchayat Raj System, Indian Economics, World Economic, Indian Social Movements, Environment etc. knowledge is tested.
Paper 2-
Paper-2 tests the communication skills of the candidates as well as communication, logical reasoning, analytical ability, decision making, basic numeracy, problem-solving,
