If you say that something will happen with immediate effect or with effect from (WEF) a particular time, you mean that it will begin to apply or be valid immediately or from the stated time. For example: If you are the owner of a Bus and you want to increase the prices of the ticket charges after a specific date due to an increase in rates of Petrol and Diesel.
